About the Job

The company is looking for an experienced and responsible driver to transport staff, executives, and company materials safely, comfortably, and on time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Transport staff, management, and official guests to designated meetings, assignments, and destinations efficiently and safely.
• Vehicle Maintenance & Checks: Conduct routine daily checks on vehicle conditions (engine oil, water, tire pressure, brakes, and lights) and report any mechanical faults promptly.
• Route Navigation & Planning: Plan efficient travel routes using knowledge of Lagos traffic patterns to avoid delays and ensure punctuality.
• Traffic Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road signs, highway codes, and company safety policies at all times.
• Vehicle Cleanliness: Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times, both inside and out.
• Record Keeping: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date logbook recording all trips, mileage, fuel purchases, and maintenance schedules.
• Errands & Deliveries: Handle official courier duties, document deliveries, and pick-ups as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid, up-to-date Nigerian driver's license (Class E or relevant category) and a clean driving record.
• Professional Experience: Proven prior working experience as a professional corporate, executive, or personal driver.
• Route Familiarity: Extensive and practical knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic laws, and key routes (especially around Jibowu and the Lagos metropolis).
• Soft Skills & Conduct: High level of maturity, reliability, punctuality, good personal hygiene, and professional discretion when handling confidential matters.
• Educational Background: Minimum of a secondary school certificate (SSCE) or equivalent qualification.
